| Soundworks is the right blend of high tech/high touch. State of the art systems are set in a comfortable environment. Wood floors in the lobby are balanced with attractive homelike settings that are both quiet and professional looking. We have a fully equipped kitchen, good coffee and plenty of soda pop. Our rest rooms are clean, comfortable, and handicapped equipped. Come on in and take a look around. | |
| Equipment | |
| Soundworks has a balance of traditional and state of the art equipment. The SEKD Sequoia digital audio workstation and Sony DMX-R100 digital console provide the latest in audio technology. Warm tube mics, dbx compressors and Lexicon reverbs help to achieve the perfect blend of vintage and high resolution digital sound. Genelec, Yamaha and KEF monitors are used for accurate audio monitoring. We only use the best, most proven effects plug-ins: TC Electronics and Waves. A never ending supply of sound effects are available including Lucas Film, Hollywood Edge, Sound Ideas, Fox, DeWolfe, and Network. |

| Our studio's have high ceilings with lots of natural light, during long days in the studio it's nice to see the sun! Our quality microphones and quality mic pre-amps mean that your recordings will sound rich and warm. New and vintage microphones range from Sony's C-800g tube mics to a Stephen Paul modded Neumann U-87 to the promo V.O. Standard Sennheiser 416's. | |
